Sado Kisen has launched the “Sado Long Stay Ticket,” which offers a discount of at least 5,000 yen off the round-trip Jetfoil fare for a long stay (child fares are 2,000 yen or more).
Fares are 8460 yen for adults and 4730 yen for children, and will run from June 1 to September 30.
The discount applies to those staying on Sado Island for a minimum of 4 nights and a maximum of 9 nights and using the Jetfoil (Niigata route) for both return trips. Advance reservations are required and can be made online or by phone. However, while online reservations can be made up to one hour before departure, reservations by phone can be made up to 5:00 p.m. the day before boarding on the outbound route.
