Daisho-in Temple (210 Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture) will start offering “Summer Festival” and “Dragonfly and Ladle” paper-cut red seals on June 1. The cost is 1,500 yen for the “Summer Festival” and 1,400 yen for the “Dragonfly and Scythe.
Produced by ELternal, a consulting firm, it aims to increase the number of fans of temples and shrines through red seals. The blue “Summer Festival” represents the liveliness of the Miyajima dance, while the orange “Dragonfly and Ladle” represents the Miyajima ladle and a dragonfly in summer.
The award will be given in limited quantities and will end as soon as they are gone.
