JINS has unveiled a new line to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Donald Duck’s screen debut.
JINS/Disney Model” eyewear and related goods will go on sale on June 8. Pre-sales will begin today, May 30, at the official online store.
The new “Donald Duck Birthday Model” eyewear is available in two styles, a Boston and a crown punt. The frames are made with Donald Duck’s signature blue and yellow colors, but in a subdued tone.
The finish is easy for everyday use and allows you to casually express your love for the characters. Both models have Donald Duck artwork on the temple ends. Each pair is priced at 19,900 yen (including the cost of lenses with prescription lenses).
The Boston type is available in two colors: a deep dark navy and a yellowish brown demi. The round type will be available in two colors: blue and shiny gold, with the temples in a less saturated blue. The eyewear comes with an eyeglass case and a cellete.
