MOFF will open a cat café, Cat Café MOFF Ala Moana Center (1450 Ala Moana Blvd. Honolulu, HI 96814), on June 1, Honolulu local time.
This is the third store in Hawaii, following the International Marketplace store in September 2023 and the Pearlridge Center store in April 2024. Visitors will be able to meet more than 15 kittens under one year old, including Persians, Scottish Folds, British Shorthairs, and Ragdolls, which are rarely seen in Hawaii.
Unlike the two existing stores, it has a café function and offers MOFF’s original latte art drinks in the store. The cute latte-art faces of cats living free and easy can be enjoyed by taking pictures of them side by side with each other.
During “kaukau time” (meaning “meal time” in Hawaiian) at 12:00 and 17:00 every day, visitors can watch the cats eat and listen to explanations from the keepers about their species and habits.
Rates are $23 for 30 minutes and $28 for 60 minutes (includes one drink); children 3 and under are free (drinks charged).
