On May 30, NAA (Narita International Airport) announced that it will revise the international passenger security service charge from the current 550 yen to 700 yen. The fee will be applied from September 1.
The reason for this is that security-related costs have increased dramatically in the face of the shortage of security inspectors after the Corona disaster, as well as the need for improved compensation and more sophisticated and smarter inspection equipment.
Collection will continue to be made at the same time as the fare at the time of ticket purchase.
