Anitouch, an indoor petting zoo operated by Izu Shaboten Zoological Park, announced on June 10 that it is experiencing a baby rush at its Odaiba, Ota, Minatomirai, and Nagoya locations.
One baby ring-tailed lemur was born at “Anitouch Aqua City Odaiba” (1-7-1 Daiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo) on May 2 and one at “Anitouch PARK AEON MALL Ota” (81 Ishihara-cho, Ota City, Gunma Prefecture) on May 30. At both facilities, visitors can see them clinging to their mothers’ bellies in the “capybara and ring-tailed lemur room.
At “Anitouch Minato Mirai” (Yokohama World Porters, 2-2-1 Shinko, Naka-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), one baby red-fronted tamarin was born on May 29, and the parent and child can be seen through the fence.
At “Anitouch LaLaport Nagoya Minato Acres” (2-3-2 Minatoaki, Minato-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), twin babies were born to a common marmoset on June 3, and although they are currently in the backyard, they will be available for viewing in the “Capybara and Wagob lemur room” from mid to early July.
