On June 13, Lilo Vacations began taking reservations for Yururi Hakone with DOGS (1300-415 Gora, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), a hot spring inn that will open in August and allows guests to stay with their dogs.

Yururi Hakone with DOGS” is a hot spring ryokan exclusively for guests accompanied by small dogs. The ryokan has a total of 12 rooms of four types, including rooms with a half-open-air bath, and all rooms are equipped with amenities for dogs.

The floors in the guest rooms are made of non-slip, stain-resistant flooring with a special coating, and the furniture is stain-resistant and durable. The rooms are also equipped with special beds for pet dogs. Special rooms can accommodate up to three small dogs per room, and other rooms can accommodate up to two small dogs (each dog must weigh up to 10 kg).

The restaurant offers semi-private room seating for dogs, and they also have a buffet exclusively for dogs. Private baths are also available for you and your dog, and a special bathtub is provided for hygiene control. The hot spring is a mixture of spring water from Owakudani and Hayakumo, and contains chlorides.

In addition to the outdoor dog run, there is also an indoor dog run on the first floor and a photo spot inside the hotel. The hotel also offers a photo spot inside the building. The hotel is also suitable for overnight travel debuts, as it offers a range of services that can be enjoyed together with your dog.

The standard plan with breakfast and nabe kaiseki for dinner will be offered from 18,700 yen per person per night (based on double occupancy). The standard room rate for dogs is 4,400 yen per dog, but for “Relo Hotels & Resorts members,” half-board is free and breakfast is from 2,200 yen per dog.
