Ocean Expo Park (424 Ishikawa, Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture) will hold the “Ocean Expo Park Summer Festival 2024 – 46th Ocean Expo Park Fireworks Festival” from July 13 to 15.
The 46th Ocean Expo Park Fireworks Festival will be held on July 13 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., launching approximately 10,000 fireworks. The event will feature the prefecture’s first illuminated ball and the “Newly Changing Yanbaru Fireworks” starmine. The fireworks can be viewed at Emerald Beach and the Marriage Commemoration Forest in Ocean Expo Park in the fee-charging area, or in the free area near Churaumi Plaza.
Paid areas are sold in advance through bus tours, Lawson, Family Mart, Seven-Eleven, etc. General seats are 2,500 yen per person. Pier seats are 22,000 yen per slot (capacity of 6 people). Same-day sales will be available at the dedicated Emerald Beach gate for 3,000 yen per person for general seats and 25,000 yen per slot for pier seats.
During the period, there will also be a stamp rally around the park, a “water play attraction” at the Tropical Dream Center, and a planetarium showing of “Night on the Galactic Railroad” at the Oceanic Culture Museum, among other programs.
