Marin Shoji is offering pre-orders of the compact cold/thermal storage “Hiepoka” on Makuake. The pre-order period is until July 14.

This compactly designed cold/thermal storage unit has a capacity (7.5L) for six 500mL PET bottles or 10 350mL bottles, and weighs approximately 1.7kg. The main unit measures 18.5 x 32.2 x 28 cm (W x D x H) and comes with a belt so it can be carried over the shoulder.

The cold storage temperature in the chamber is down to -5°C, but it can keep the temperature from -25°C to 60°C ambient temperature. The company claims the unit is quiet, with an operating noise level of approximately 40 dB due to the use of thermoelectric cooling.

DC/AC power compatibility allows use in the car or at home; the DC power cable is approximately 1.8 m long, allowing use in the back seat.

The product will be available in two colors, white and gray, and will be priced at 14,500 yen. 32% off (9,860 yen) early bird discount will be offered, and the product will be shipped by the end of July.
