Honda Motor Co. will launch the HondaJet Share Service in June.
The HondaJet service is designed for use on medium- to long-distance routes where travel by existing transportation systems is inconvenient, with Honda providing the HondaJet and the Honda Group providing ground mobility before and after boarding, enabling seamless travel to destinations without passing through airport buildings. For the time being, the service will be offered only to corporate customers, but the company is considering offering it to the general public as well.
Some of the corporations that plan to use the service for the general public have also been disclosed, with the Alpico Group offering travel products and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club offering transportation by HondaJet as a service for Diners Club card members.
