JR Group announced the schedule of sales and usage periods for the Seishun 18 Ticket and Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket for the summer season of FY2024.
Seishun 18 Ticket (Summer 2024)
Sales period: July 10 – August 31, 2024
Period of use: July 20 – September 10, 2024
Fare: 12,050 yen (same price for adults/children)
Sales locations: Major JR stations, travel centers, and major travel agencies nationwide
The Seishun 18 Ticket allows unlimited rides on all JR ordinary and rapid trains, BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), and JR West Miyajima Ferry throughout Japan.
One ticket can be used up to five times by one person, either alone for five days or in a group on the same itinerary. For example, five people can use one ticket for one day on the same itinerary, or three people can use three tickets for one day on the same itinerary, and the remaining two tickets can be used by two people on the same itinerary.
