Visa Worldwide Japan will launch the second installment of Visa’s touch payment cash-back campaign exclusively in Osaka Prefecture. The period is from June 20 to August 16.
The second round is available at Katsuya, Karayama, Sukiya, Nakau, McDonald’s, and Mos Burger (excluding full-self-registration) in Osaka Prefecture, where 15% (up to 1,500 yen) of the total amount paid with Visa touch will be rewarded with cash back.
In addition, an additional 15% (up to 1,500 yen) cash back will be given to customers who register their card number on Visa’s dedicated campaign page and use Visa’s touch payment at merchants eligible for the campaign. This results in a total of 30% cash back (up to ¥3,000) per card.
Visa cards are also eligible for use through smartphones and wearable devices; transactions through non-Visa payment methods (e.g., iD and QUICPay) are not eligible.
After this campaign is over, the company plans to conduct the same or similar campaigns in Osaka Prefecture with different target stores.
