JAL Group’s J-AIR will offer the “J-AIR Unlimited Video Viewing” service on its Embraer 190 aircraft. The service period is from July 12 to September 30.
This initiative commemorates the completion of antenna installation on all 14 of the company’s 190 aircraft on July 11, 2024, and will allow passengers to connect to video streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix via in-flight Wi-Fi in cooperation with Intelsat. In cooperation with Intelsat, the company will enable in-flight Wi-Fi access to video streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix. This is the first time for a Japanese airline to offer in-flight video streaming services.
Eligible routes include Haneda – Misawa/Akita/Yamagata/Yamaguchi-Ube/Miyazaki routes and Itami – Sendai/Kagoshima routes.
