Aeon will begin full-scale sales of 220 types of resort swimwear for women and 117 types of clothing such as rash guards on June 21.
Bikinis, tankinis, and rash guards were released under the theme of “iro-natsu,” or the enjoyment of various summers. The bikinis feature trendy designs that minimize skin exposure and cover up the figure, and all items come with a skirt or shorts.
The lineup also includes the “Dot Pattern Chiffon Bikini with Culottes 3-Piece Set” (14,080 yen), which features a transparent chiffon fabric with 5-minute puff sleeves to hide arms, the “Puff Sleeve Back Bow 3-Piece Set” (17,980 yen), which has high waist bottoms to cover the stomach area, and the “Scallop Knit Bikini 3-Piece Set” (15,180 yen), which includes a flower pattern skirt. The lineup includes the “Scalloped Knit Bikini 3-Piece Set” (15,180 yen), which comes with a flower-patterned skirt.
Tankinis include the “3-Piece Set with Pullover Bottom and Integrated Leggings” (14,080 yen). The set includes a pullover, and the pants and leggings are integrated to provide sun protection.
The lineup of clothing such as rash guards, which cover body shape and protect against UV rays when playing in the water, has been increased by approximately 1.5 times since last year in response to the expansion of the number of occasions in which they are worn, such as walking and camping.
The “Amphibious Nashiji Rush Guard 2-Piece Set” (4,378 yen), which is made of a transparent chlorine-resistant nashiji material that can be worn over a bathing suit and includes shorts made of contact-cooling material, is also available in a design that would not look out of place as a plain top.
