Pokémon Inc. will reopen the Pokémon Store Tokyo Station Store, a store located at the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, on July 10.
The store, currently located in the Tokyo Character Street on the basement floor of Tokyo Station Ichibangai (1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), will be relocated to the first floor. The sales floor area will be expanded by approximately 3.6 times, and the store will be developed as a “first station” that is connected to the Pokémon Centers, which are official Pokémon stores throughout Japan.
Pikachu, the stationmaster, Meowha, Hogeta, and Kwassu will welcome you at the new entrance, which is designed in the image of a station building. Pikachu motifs are also scattered throughout the store.
In addition to the plush Pikachu Stationmaster Pikachu doll (2,640 yen) and mascot (1,650 yen) currently on sale, the company recommends the Leaf Cookie in a Can (hazelnut & milk chocolate) (1,540 yen), which will go on sale on July 10 to commemorate the reopening, and the stylish gold handle “Shopper Stationmaster Pikachu” (330 yen) as souvenirs. The “Shopper Station Chief Pikachu” (330 yen), with its stylish gold handle, is recommended as a souvenir.
The currently operating store (B1 floor) will close on June 23.
