Xpark, an urban aquarium operated by Yokohama Hakkeijima’s overseas subsidiary Taiwan Yokohama Hakkeijima (No. 105, Chunde Road, Jhongli Dist., Taoyuan City, Taiwan), will celebrate the 90th anniversary of Donald Duck’s screen debut with “Let’s Xparty! The event will run from July 1 to September 30.
Using Xpark as a party venue, Donald Duck, Mickey & Friends, and their sea friends will celebrate their 90th birthday in grand style.
The museum is decorated in a special anniversary style, and visitors will encounter a variety of events along the way as they head to the main birthday venue. Visitors can enjoy the event in the form of a greeting rally. Ten photo spots are set up in the museum, and four are AR photo spots where visitors can view exclusive animations.
The main large aquarium and the fish illusion have been updated to the anniversary version. The fish and jellyfish are now wrapped in a new wrapping that matches the shape of the tank, allowing visitors to see their Disney friends perform alongside them.
Tickets are now on sale at Xpark’s official e-commerce site for the limited-edition “Donald Duck with Plush Pouch” (NT$990 for adults, NT$790 for students, NT$590 for children, NT$590 for philanthropy), a 22 x 14 cm (H x W) card case cum zipped pouch with a strap featuring the sea creature.
