On June 21, Sanko released “Vehicle Smacool,” a smartphone cooling holder for bicycles and motorcycles with a cooling function that prevents thermal runaway of smartphones.
It is USB powered and uses the Bertsche cooling method, which can cool down up to 13°C from the ambient temperature to prevent thermal runaway of smartphones. The price is 5980 yen.
Compatible with handle diameters from 15 to 35 mm, and can be attached with a dial, so no tools are required. The arm opens automatically when the power button on either side of the main unit is pressed, and closes when a smartphone is placed on it. The base part rotates so it can be used in either portrait or landscape orientation.
When using a 10,000 mAh mobile battery, the system will operate for approximately 7 hours.
