Disney-patterned yukata may be good for summer festivals and fireworks displays! Japanese items that will make you feel like a princess!

Posted on 2024-06-252024-09-04 by Editor in Chief

Walt Disney Japan will release yukata and other Japanese-style items for summer at the Disney Store on June 28.

Newly introduced are yukata (13,500 yen each) with “Rapunzel on the Tower” and Minnie Mouse designs. Each set comes with a yukata and a knot belt.

The lavender and pink colors, as well as the magical flowers, Pascal, braided hair, Minnie’s ribbon, and other character touches are subtly incorporated into the design, making it easy to wear. The yukata itself is light and comfortable to wear even in summer. The wrinkled obi can be twisted and crumpled for a fun arrangement.

Also available are “obidome sets” (1,600 yen each) and “hair clip sets” (2,000-2,200 yen each) that can be coordinated with yukata. The use of pearls on the obi-dome adds an elegant touch to the outfit! The hair clips can be added to braids or used as a coordinating accent with a large ribbon.

In addition, bags that can be worn with yukata at festivals and fireworks displays are also available. There is also a “pouch with strap” in the style of a stuffed animal Pascal (3,900 yen) and a Minnie Mouse “pochette” with a cute pearl necklace (3,900 yen).

The “shoulder bag” (4,900 yen) with its nuanced color and large ribbon is easy to use, and the “basket bag” (4,900 yen) with three circles of pearl beads scattered around it, are items overflowing with cuteness.

The lineup also includes “fans” (1,800 yen each) for protection against the summer heat. In addition to yukata and bags, it would be a good idea to get a fan as well for a total coordination.
