FDA and Skymark launch joint baggage transportation with no need to re-check baggage when transferring between flights. For the time being, it will be used for travel products.

Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) and Skymark Airlines have concluded a joint and several passenger baggage transportation agreement, which will take effect on September 1.

This will eliminate the need to re-check the baggage when connecting between FDA and Skymark flights, and will allow for smoother service. For the time being, however, the new system will be applied only to certain travel products that connect between FDA’s Matsumoto-Kobe route and Skymark’s Kobe-Naha route, and will be phased in for other routes and users in the future.
