JR Tokai Food Service will commemorate the 13th anniversary of Nagoya sweets “Piyorin” on July 1 by selling “Anniversary Piyorin” and “Piyorin Cream Soda” with straw charms for a limited time.
A large “Anniversary Piyorin,” about 10 times the weight of the regular Piyorin, is now available. The pudding is made from Nagoya Cochin eggs, and a gelée made from puree of “Ai Kirari,” a new brand of strawberries produced in Aichi Prefecture, is wrapped in bavarois and covered with a fluffy crumb.
The set includes an acrylic stand (mount 125 x 180 mm) and glitter stickers (50 x 50 mm) with anniversary design. The acrylic stand can be displayed in a room or on a desk, while the glitter stickers can be inserted into a transparent smartphone case.
Piyorin Cream Soda” with straw charm
Piyorin’s Cream Soda,” a colorful soda topped with Piyorin ice cream, will be sold as a limited anniversary item.
Each drink comes with an original photo-worthy straw charm and a coaster. The charm can be removed and attached to a bag or pouch to carry around.
