Okinawa-based aloha shirt brand PAIKAJI has released a special order aloha “Surfy Mickey” with the magazine “OCEANS. Priced at 35,200 yen, it is available in sizes M, L, and XL.
The first collaborative aloha features artwork of the popular Disney character Mickey Mouse. The black-eyed Mickey, known as “Button Eye,” is depicted enjoying summer, surfing, and wearing sunglasses. The “Touchy” of Iejima Island is also incorporated as a motif, which is typical of the Okinawan brand.
The entire aloha is in a calm, deep navy color. The wide width makes it cool, smooth, comfortable, and airy, and it will come in handy as a summer piece. The use of cellulose fabric, which becomes more durable as it is worn, is also a particular feature of this item.
