Tokyo Disney Resort will hold a summer program from July 2 to September 18, and I had an early look at the park’s summery decorations at a press opening held on July 1.
At Tokyo Disneyland, the popular “Splash Mountain” attraction has been transformed into a special “Splash Mountain ‘Soaking Wet MAX'” version that is sure to get you soaked.
The waterfall is designed so that visitors board a log boat and dive from a height of approximately 16 meters into the waterfall basin, where they are sprayed with a larger-than-usual volume of water. The water may suddenly and unexpectedly splash over the falls, so please look forward to that as well.
The Country Bear Theatre “Vacation Jamboree” is running until November 7. 18 bears, each with their own unique personality, perform country-style renditions of classic songs. The 18 bears, each with their own unique personality, will perform a variety of classic songs arranged in a country style. Limited items are also on sale, so be sure to check it out.
If you want to enjoy getting wet, “Soaking Wet” Toontown is the place to go. A notice with a water-splash shape has appeared on the side of the main marquee at the entrance to the toons. There are also signposts at the foot of the marquee that say, “You’re soaking wet ahead,” so you should be able to get to the spot without getting lost.
Details of the parade and other “soaking wet” programs will be announced later.
