Rakuten Card began accepting applications for the Rakuten Black Card on July 1.
The company is now accepting applications from users who meet the company’s requirements, and will disclose service details and benefits on the same day.
The conditions are that at least 12 months must have passed since the signing of the “Rakuten Premium Card” contract, and that the total amount charged to the card in the past 12 months must be at least 5 million yen.
International brands are JCB, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
The annual fee is 33,000 yen, with a maximum credit limit of 10 million yen and overseas travel disability insurance of up to 100 million yen. In addition, the card offers a 2.00% point reward rate at Rakuten Securities, a baggage delivery service for travel, Rakuten Card Travel Desk, and access to airport lounges in Japan and overseas.
In addition, new benefits have been added since July 1. Rakuten Magazine Light for Rakuten Card, which allows users to read up to three magazines of their choice per month on Rakuten Magazine, and Rakuten Music Bundle Plan, which allows up to five hours of free playback every 30 days on the Rakuten Music application.
