Tokyo Disney Resort has announced the Tokyo Disney Resort Special Drone Show “Magic in the Air. The show will be held at several fireworks festivals throughout Japan this summer. The first event announced is the “Abegawa Fireworks Festival” (Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture), which will be held on July 20.
The main point of this program is that a total of approximately 1,500 drones will fly simultaneously into the night sky to depict Disney characters as large as shining stars in the night sky. For about 15 minutes, scenes inspired by Mickey Mouse and the Disney films “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid” will be presented.
The fireworks display will also include scenes inspired by the three areas of Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs theme port, which celebrated its grand opening on June 6: Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland. It is sure to make the fireworks display even more special and memorable.
Other participating fireworks shows will be announced on the official Tokyo Disney Resort Web site as soon as they are determined.
