NEXCO East Japan announced the opening of a Lawson store at Tarumae SA (upper and lower lines) on the Hokkaido Expressway at 8:00 a.m. on July 19. This is the first Lawson store to open at a SA/PA in Hokkaido.
Tarumae SA, which had been closed for commercial operations since March 31, will open as a 24-hour convenience store with the opening of Lawson. The store will carry hot snacks and other items as well as local souvenirs.
In addition, to commemorate the opening, the first 400 customers will receive “original box tissues,” and for three days from July 19 to 21, all “Kara-Age Kun” series products will be increased by one to a six-pack.
