Niigata Prefecture’s Myoko Tourist Bureau is conducting the “Myoko Ouenwari Campaign,” a tourism attraction project, until July 21 for stays in Myoko.
In order to help businesses affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake and to restore tourism demand, a 3,000 yen discount on lodging in Myoko City will be offered to visitors from all over Japan, and 2,000 yen worth of local coupons that can be used at restaurants and souvenir stores will be distributed. They will also receive 500 yen worth of souvenirs.
The “Myoko Ouenwari Plan” is available for stays of 8,000 yen or more per night including tax, and a questionnaire must be filled out at the time of the stay. Reservations can be made directly to participating lodging facilities (by phone or through the official website) until July 20. The plan cannot be used in conjunction with the Hokuriku Oen Wari (Niigata Oen Tabiwari Campaign Vol. 2).
