Sumitomo Real Estate Commercial Management will hold “Discover Okinawa in Haneda Airport,” a promotional event for Okinawa Prefecture, at Haneda Airport Garden (2-7-1 Haneda Airport, Ota-ku, Tokyo), a complex directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. The event will run for three days from July 13 to 15.
In addition to the PR booths for Nago City, Uruma City, and Kanatake Town set up in the grand foyer on the first floor of the venue, Orion Beer craft beer, Awamori, food, sweets, pottery, and other local products from all over the prefecture will be sold. Some of the products will also be available for tasting.
Visitors can also enjoy traditional performing arts such as Ryukyuan dance and sanshin (Okinawan guitar) on stage, a raffle to win Nago hotel accommodation tickets and local specialties, a VR experience of a limestone cave that remains as the birthplace of the dragon god belief, and a promotional video on the museum’s large screen.
Until August 31, some of the stores in the museum will also feature a special Okinawa products corner. In addition, restaurants in the hotel and hot spring facilities attached to the Haneda Airport Garden will offer Okinawan food menus, Orion the Premium, and Okinawan awamori.
