Vietnam Airlines announced the receipt of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft. This is the first receipt of this aircraft type, which will be operated mainly on domestic routes in Vietnam starting this summer.
Compared to the conventional Airbus A320ceo aircraft, the new aircraft will reduce fuel consumption by approximately 16%, CO2 emissions by approximately 50%, and noise by approximately 75%, and together with a total capacity of 182 seats, will be able to handle peak seasons. The aircraft will also offer in-flight entertainment available on the passenger’s terminal.
In addition to this aircraft, the company plans to receive a Boeing 787-10 in the near future, which will be deployed on routes such as Narita to Vietnam.
