On July 9, Marriott International held a Marriott Bonvoy Strategy Presentation and LE SSERAFIM Talk Event exclusively for Marriott Bonvoy members at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo (9-7-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
John Toomey, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), spoke at the presentation.
Marriott Bonvoy, a loyalty program launched five years ago, was inspired by the French phrase “bon voyage” (have a nice trip) and offers benefits to 203 million global members.
Members can redeem points earned through hotel stays and food and beverage at restaurants and bars, as well as participate in exclusive experiences and events listed on Marriott Bonvoy Moments.
The four main benefits of Marriott Bonvoy Moments are Culinary, Sports, Arts & Lifestyle, and Entertainment.
Recent initiatives in entertainment included major city tour sponsorship of Taylor Swift’s “THE ERAS TOUR” and official sponsorship of Ado SPECIAL LIVE 2024 “Heart”.
As part of its future strategy, the company also announced a music event, “Summer Music Fest 2024,” which will be held from July to September at Aloft Moxy Hotels in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. The event will be held at Aloft Moxy Hotels in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto from July to September.
