Universal Studios Japan held a ceremony on July 15 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” area. In conjunction with this event, “Hogwarts Castle Walk,” an attraction that allows visitors to explore the inside of Hogwarts Castle, will be revived for a limited time from today until December 31.

The area, which celebrated exactly 10 years since its grand opening on July 15, 2014, is the first theme park in Asia to realistically recreate the wizarding world of the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” film series, and has attracted a great deal of attention. The area is still bustling with visitors from Japan and abroad.

After passing through the slightly dubious atmosphere of the forest trees deep in the park, you will be greeted by the unique stores and pubs of “Hogsmeade Village” and the majestic “Hogwarts Castle”. Visitors can enjoy photo opportunities on the Hogwarts Express, which has been popular since its opening, and a large barrel-style drink cart where they can enjoy “Butterbeer” supervised by author J.K. Rowling, as well as various other experiences using a magic wand in the area. and a variety of experiences using a magic wand in the area.

In addition, the park has evolved over the past 10 years, including the launch of “Magical Creatures Encounter: Meet Magical Creatures” in the spring of 2023 as a new hands-on content experience.

And this year, the anniversary year, Hogwarts Castle Walk, a special route that allows visitors to walk through Hogwarts Castle, which has been built to an unparalleled level of quality and detail, is back in operation.

Stepping into the cool, dimly lit castle, visitors will encounter “statues” that cannot usually be seen, such as the large statue of Griffin guarding Dumbledore’s office and the statue of Hogwarts’ first principal. Other attractions include the “Hourglass Dormitory Competition,” where students from the four dormitories compete for points in sports and academic competitions, and a tapestry on the wall depicting a map of the castle. In the “Hallway of Moving Portraits,” which is decorated up to the high ceilings, a chatty lady might find out that she has intruded into the castle as a Muggle……..

In addition, starting today, Butterbeer poured into the limited-time design “10th Anniversary Mug” will be available for purchase. In addition, special churritos with images of the four dormitories of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will also make a reappearance to add to the festive mood.
