Walt Disney Japan will launch “Disney Store Summer Festival” on July 23 at Disney Flagship Tokyo, Disney Store stores, and the official Disney online store.

Disney Flagship Tokyo in Shinjuku and Tokyo Disney Resort Store in Maihama will also feature special summer festival-style decorations: from July 23 to August 22, guests will be welcomed at the entrance with Bon Odori dance decorations reminiscent of a yagura. Also, on the first floor of Disney Flagship Tokyo, guests can enjoy decorations with a summer festival stall-like atmosphere.

In addition, Disney Store stores will hold the “Disney Store Summer Festival Lottery” where everyone can get a chance to win. The prices range from 1,500 yen to 30,000 yen. A total of nine types of lottery items will be available, ranging from apparel to dolls and figures.

This year, Marvel and Star Wars raffles will be available at the Disney Flagship Tokyo, which is great for fans. In addition, you can also try your hand at Smart Ball. The types of raffles vary by stores and official online stores, so please refer to the table below.

Limited items for summer festivals are also available. The plush keychains (2,800 yen each) feature cute Baymax and Stitch, dressed in happi (traditional festival attire) and holding a large fan with festival characters on it.

The lineup includes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed as if they were heading to a fireworks display in yukata, and Donald Duck in a hachimaki, getting into the spirit.

In addition, Disney Flagship Tokyo and Tokyo Disney Resort stores will present “Disney Store Summer Festival” designed fans as a special gift for visiting their stores. The candy apple motif on the fan is sure to enhance the summer festival atmosphere. Distribution dates are July 27 and 28, and August 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 17, and 18. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
