HOTEL R9 The Yard Yamanashi Chuo, a container hotel, opens. Total 42 rooms, first in Koshinetsu

Develop will open a container hotel, HOTEL R9 The Yard Yamanashi Chuo (3633-4 Yamanokami, Chuo City, Yamanashi Prefecture), on August 10. Prior to the opening, the company will start accepting reservations from August 2 at 3:00 p.m.

The “HOTEL R9 The Yard” series is a series of 87 hotels across the country that serve as disaster-prevention facilities in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency, the guest rooms can be promptly relocated as “rescue hotels.

The Yamanashi Chuo Store, the first store to open in the Koshinetsu region, is located near Prefectural Route 3, 5 minutes by car from Koigawa Station on the JR Minobu Line and 10 minutes from the Kofu Showa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.

A total of 42 independent guest rooms are available in architectural container modules. They are 13m2 in size, can accommodate up to 2 people, and do not have walls that connect them to neighboring rooms to maintain quietness and privacy.

Room rates range from 6,200 yen per person per night for a double room/ 8,700 yen per person per night for two people, and from 6,200 yen per person per night for a twin room/ 9,700 yen per person per night for two people. Free parking for 45 standard and light vehicles is also available.
