Korean Air announced the introduction of the Boeing 787-10 aircraft, which will begin service on the Narita-Incheon (Seoul) route on July 25, followed by medium and long haul routes in the U.S. and Europe.
The 787-10 is the largest aircraft in the 787 family, with a fuselage length of 68.3 m, longer than that of the 787-9, allowing for a 15% increase in passenger and cargo capacity.
The company’s 787-10 aircraft has 36 Prestige Class seats and 289 Economy Class seats, for a total of 325 seats, and has now also unveiled its Prestige Class seat, Prestige Suite 2.0.
The “Prestige Suite 2.0” is designed with a pattern reminiscent of the traditional Korean embroidered cloth called “pojagi,” and the interior is decorated in cream like white porcelain from the Joseon Dynasty, gold like brass, and charcoal gray or black with a bluish tinge.
The seats are private room type with doors and equipped with 132 cm partitions, making them open-top with a sense of freedom while maintaining privacy.
Economy class, on the other hand, features brightly colored 3-3-3 array seats. They can recline up to 120 degrees and are equipped with headrests that can be adjusted in various directions.
