Walt Disney Japan is running “Disney Dream Travel” to coincide with the arrival of the summer travel season.
It offers a total of 10 types of ARs that allow visitors to take pictures with Mickey Mouse at their travel destinations, sells travel goods, and sells an art collection featuring local art designs from each of the 47 prefectures of Japan.
Disney Dream Travel AR, an AR for Instagram of Disney characters, was released on July 18. By reading the target art with the camera in the app, AR of Disney friends will appear and you can enjoy taking photos with Mickey Mouse and his friends on their travels.
Disney Dream Travel Summer Campaign” will also be held, in which users can win prizes by posting photos taken with AR at participating stores.
