Typhoon No. 3, all airlines announce flight cancellations and delays in Okinawa area, some airports closed all day. All flights to Miyako and Ishigaki are canceled on July 24.

Due to Typhoon No. 3, which is moving northeastward over the sea east of Taiwan, there is a possibility of flight cancellations and delays in air traffic.

ANA, JAL Group, Skymark, Jetstar Japan, Peach Aviation, Solaseed Air, and other airlines serving Okinawa area (Naha, Miyako, Shimojijima, Ishigaki) have decided to cancel some flights from July 23 to 25 due to possible delays, cancellations, and conditional flights. . In addition, some airport terminal buildings will be closed throughout the day.

ANA has decided to cancel some flights to Miyako in the afternoon of July 23 and some flights to Ishigaki after 6:00 p.m. All flights to/from Miyako and Ishigaki will be cancelled on July 24-25. In addition, flights to and from Naha are also expected to be affected.

JAL has decided to cancel some flights on July 23rd, as flights to and from Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni will be affected; on July 24th, many flights to and from Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni have been canceled; and on July 25th, flights to and from Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni The flights to and from Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni will be affected.

Skymark and Jetstar Japan’s flights to Miyako and Peach’s flights to Ishigaki will be cancelled all day on July 24. The terminal buildings of Ishigaki and Miyako airports will be closed all day on July 24.
