JR Group announced the reservation status of reserved seats as of July 25.
The number of seats available for reservation increased 112% from the previous year to 11.55 million, of which 3.69 million seats were reserved, up 121% from the previous year, and reservations for both Shinkansen and conventional lines have increased since last year.
The daily reservation status from August 9 to 18 has also been released, with the largest number of seats reserved on August 10 for the down train and August 12 for the up train. 500,000 seats have already been reserved for the combined number of seats on the up and down lines on August 10, and 400,000 seats on August 11 and 12, indicating the peak of usage.
