JR West will hold the “Osaka CO2CO2 (Tipsy) Point + Train de De-Carbon Stamp Rally” from August 1 to September 11.
This is part of the Osaka Prefecture’s “Osaka CO2CO2 Point+” program for products and services with low CO2 emissions. During the period, one stamp will be awarded for each video clip viewed and one stamp will be awarded for each ICOCA train trip to or from a station in Osaka Prefecture.
Once you have collected a total of seven stamps (one for watching videos and six for using the train), you will complete the program. If you answer a questionnaire, 10% of the amount of train usage for which you have collected stamps will be rewarded with WESTER points. In addition, an additional 1,000 points will be given to 100 people selected by drawing from those who have completed the survey.
To participate, ICOCA registration on the “WESTER” application and campaign entry are required. In order to earn stamps for train use, use within the commuter pass section and use through manned ticket gates, Norikoshi fare adjustment machines, and automatic ticket gates for transfers between Shinkansen trains and private railways are not eligible.
