LINE Yahoo began providing information on “Heat Stroke Alerts” and “Heat Stroke Special Alerts” in the search results of Yahoo!
In response to the Japan Meteorological Agency’s announcement that average temperatures will be higher than normal nationwide this year, information will be displayed if a “Heat Stroke Alert” or “Heat Stroke Special Alert” is issued for the corresponding area when searching for local weather on Yahoo!
Along with the alert, recommended actions to prevent heat stroke are posted. Selecting “Learn more about heat stroke prevention” at the bottom will take you to the “Heat Stroke Prevention and Initial Response” feature page, which provides information on heat stroke as related information.
If a “Special Heat Stroke Alert” has been issued, the name of the target prefecture will also be displayed in the search results.
On the search results, “Heat Stroke Alerts” can be checked for the day, and “Heat Stroke Special Alerts” can be checked for up to two days, the day of the alert and the following day.
