Seibu Realty Solutions and Sumitomo Corporation announced the opening date of the commercial facility “Emi Terrace Tokorozawa” (10-1 Higashi Sumiyoshi, Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture) on September 24, and also unveiled the facilities inside the building.

The Komorebi Food Hall on the first floor will feature not only general seating, but also a small dining area and a party room for reservations, with the aim of making the food court itself a destination. The “Komorebi Food Hall” on the first floor will have not only general seating, but also a small area and a party room that can be reserved, with the aim of making the food court itself a destination.

The “Center Court (tentative name),” an atrium space spanning the second and third floors, will be equipped with a 547-inch large screen, four projectors, 11 moving lights, and 25 speakers. In addition to public viewing of professional baseball games by the Saitama Seibu Lions, it will also be used for e-sports, music and other events, and as a place to experience digital content.

The use of restrooms, nursing rooms, and rental strollers will be digitally visualized, and the multi-story parking lot will provide AI-based exit congestion forecasts. The company also plans to collaborate with Grand Emio Tokorozawa, a station building at Tokorozawa Station, and on August 6 will release the “Emi Terrace & Grand Emio Tokorozawa” smartphone application, which provides information on stores and parking lots at both facilities.

The building will be designed to reduce environmental impact by reusing thinned wood and scrap lumber for interior and exterior building components and furniture. Artificial turf from the Berna Dome, home of the Lions, will be used in the corridors between the parking lot and the commercial building.

In addition, the company also announced three new tenants, bringing the total number of tenants to 142, and a pop-up store for the game “Minecraft” will open on the first floor for a limited time.
