UNIQLO Osaka Festival” starts on August 9! Limited edition of collaborative T-shirts by Billiken and Geidai students, and novelty “Takoyaki Pouch” for first-come, first-served customers!

UNIQLO will hold “UNIQLO Osaka Festival” at 63 stores in Osaka Prefecture from August 9 to 22! Osaka x Art”.

The item of note is the first T-shirt created in collaboration with an art event featuring “Billiken,” the god of good fortune who has become a symbolic character of Osaka. Four of the 101 artworks that participated in the “BILLIKEN CREATORS OSAKA” art event (March 2024), organized by Tamura Koma, which holds the license for Mr. Billiken, will appear as UNIQLO “UTme! Priced at 1,990 yen each.

The four works were selected by popular vote among UNIQLO store sales staff in Osaka Prefecture. The stamps will also be sold at UNIQLO SHINSAIBASHI and UNIQLO LINKS UMEDA stores as UTme!

The lineup also includes four unique “Osaka” themed T-shirts, the second collaboration with Osaka University of Arts, which was well received last year. Each is priced at 1,990 yen.

On the first day of the UNIQLO Osaka Festival, the first 9,000 customers who visit the store on the 9th will receive a limited edition Osaka Festival fan. For the four-day period from the first day to the 12th, a novelty gift will be given away for every 7,000 yen spent, including tax.

Novelties are five types in total: “Takoyaki Design Pouch,” “Tiger Pattern Drawstring,” “Osaka Townscape Mini Towel,” “Colorful Osaka Castle Pattern Clear File,” and “Osaka Gourmet Pattern Clear File,” created in collaboration with Osaka University of Arts students and local artists.
