APRIL is offering pre-orders of Taika’s “USB Memory & Art Camera” on Makuake. The USB flash drive with camera and video functions is available for pre-order until August 30.
With the included microSD card (32GB), the camera doubles as a USB memory stick and can also store photos and data taken. Photos can be taken at 1280 x 960 pixels and videos at 1280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps. The main unit also has a 0.9-inch circular display for checking the layout.
Four filters are included in the shooting mode: monochrome/orange/green/blue.
It is small, measuring 7 x 1.5 x 3 cm (W x D x H) and weighs 33 g. The image sensor is CMOS.
The planned general sales price is 8,800 yen, including a super early bird discount of 23% off (6,776 yen). Products are scheduled to ship by the end of November 2024.
