KOKUYO brushed up its PC tote bag and quilted PC case, which were sold out on a test basis in 2023, and released them on August 5.
The product was developed jointly with female students through the “Trend Catch Project” marketing group, and based on customer feedback received during test sales, the product was further refined and will be sold to the general public.
The “PC Tote Bag” has a cushioned pocket, a rain-proof lid, and can carry a 13- to 14-inch PC. It has two exterior pockets, one interior zippered pocket, and a drink holder. It is available in cream/black and priced at 3,980 yen.
The “Quilted PC Case” organizes and stores a 14-inch notebook and PC peripherals such as a charger and mouse. The outer fabric has a quilted design, and there is a pocket on the outside for storing a smartphone.
In response to feedback from test sales, the color of the ribbed fabric portion was changed to a cream color to make it less likely to show dirt and less likely to yellow over time. Two colors, cream and beige, are available. The price is 2980 yen.
