Buffalo, 2.4mm-thick card-type smart tracker compatible with Apple’s “Find Me

Posted on 2024-08-062024-10-03 by Editor in Chief

Buffalo has released the BSST01BK, a card-type smart tracker compatible with Apple’s “Find Me” app, which is available at the official Buffalo store on Amazon (Buffalo Direct).

This smart tracker (not available for Android devices) can be used with the “Find” application on iPhones and iPads to check location information. The 2.4mm-thick credit card-sized device is easy to store in a wallet or passport case, and is said to help prevent misplaced or lost valuables and other items.

When the belongings containing this product leave your hand, you will receive a push notification on your device, and if you have difficulty finding your belongings, you can also use the application to play a sound from the built-in speaker of the device.

When a lost item is noticed, the location information where the item was detected is notified to the registered device by switching to “Lost Mode” from the application.

It is waterproof with an IPX6 rating, which is resistant to wetness caused by sweat and rain, and has a built-in battery that can be used up. The remaining battery life (up to 3 years after manufacture) can be checked via the app.
