Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Seiryu Satoyama Park (2320 Yamanoue-cho, Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture) has begun selling “Dog Friendly Rooms” where guests can stay with their dogs.
The rooms are part of Marriott International’s “Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project,” which is being introduced at hotels in Okayama Hiruzenkogen, Hiroshima Sera, Okayama Tsuyama, Kagoshima Tarumizu Sakurajima, Kyoto Kyotamba, and Kyoto Minami Yamashiro.
Room types are king/twin (25m2 each), and rates start at 25,570 yen per room (for up to one medium-sized dog weighing 15 kg or less).
To ensure that your dog stays healthy during the trip, Ambient Lounge Japan will provide a pet bed, as well as a mesh pet tray, pet sheets, and water and food containers.
In addition, the Gifu Seiryu Satoyama Park (2292-1 Yamanoue-cho, Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture) adjacent to the hotel has a dog run. The hotel also provides information on cafes in the surrounding area that can be used with dogs.
