On August 15, ANA released the world’s first “ANA x Pokemon In-flight Safety Video,” produced in collaboration with Pokemon Co. The two videos, “In-flight Safety Video” and “Flight Alighting Video,” feature more than 30 different Pokémon.
This Pokémon-specific video can be seen on board only on two specially painted aircraft currently in service, Pikachu Jet NH and Eevee Jet NH, both of which are international flights. The video is scheduled to run for approximately four years until the end of August 2028.
The video was first unveiled at the departure ceremony for the Japanese delegation participating in the Pokémon World Championships 2024, held on the same day at Haneda Airport. Mr. Ueno, Executive Officer of ANA, who took the stage in greeting, made two announcements in the form of surprises to the delegation.
The first surprise was that NH186 to Honolulu was a specially painted “Pikachu Jet NH,” and the second was the announcement of the “ANA x Pokemon In-flight Safety Video. When these were announced, the audience applauded and cheered.
