Roadside Station Salmon Park Chitose (2-4-2 Hanazono, Chitose City, Hokkaido) will hold a Thanksgiving Festival from August 24 to September 1 to mark the first anniversary of its grand reopening.
During the period, the restaurant will offer a limited-time menu including “Anniversary Thanksgiving Donburi,” a bowl of rice topped with seafood for 111 yen, and “Salmon Running Donburi Salmon Festival,” where you can compare five types of salmon and salmon, as well as gourmet items such as “Tokibi Bread,” which is filled with seasonal corn produced in Chitose City.
At the special corner, there will also be day-only events such as all-you-can-stuff salmon tobaba and salmon jerky, a truck market of morning-picked corn and melons sold by local farmers themselves, and a produce market selling Hokkaido-grown peppers, carrots, potatoes, and onions for 11 yen apiece.
In addition, children will give a YOSAKOI Soranbushi performance, and visitors can enjoy food stalls and a fair at the nighttime summer festival event held in collaboration with the Chitose Aquarium.
In addition, the first 30 customers each day who purchase or eat at least 3,000 yen (receipts can be combined) including tax will receive an originally designed “Michi no Eki Ticket” commemorating the first anniversary of the grand re-opening.
