Daimaru Shinsaibashi (1-7-1 Shinsaibashi-suji, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka) will open a total of 66 stores in sequence by February 2025 as its first major renovation.

Located on Midosuji lined with luxury brands. The company has been continuously expanding its share of sales among customers in their 20s to 40s. With this renewal, the store will not limit itself to the floor of specially selected boutiques, but will gather high-sensitivity brands throughout the entire building in an effort to further expand support among the younger generation.

From the second half of 2023 onward, duty-free sales will be strong, and the company plans to strengthen Japanese traditional crafts and pop culture content for inbound visitors in preparation for the “Osaka-Kansai Expo” in 2025.

Currently, 33 new stores and 33 relocated/renovated stores are undergoing renovations, including 13 stores that were previously opened to the public in June.

JIL SANDER, the largest of its kind in the Kansai region, AMIRI, Kirby’s Cafe The Store OSAKA, the first store in Kansai, R&Co. and Gion Tsujiri/Saryo Tsujiri, the first store in Osaka, and FUEGUIA 1833, a fragrance brand from Buenos Aires, will make their first appearance.

In addition, the luxury category has been strengthened by expanding the area of the 6th floor watch sales floor by 65%. The Casio Watch Premium Shop will be renewed as one of the largest stores in Japan, offering Casio’s six major brands, including G-SHOCK, OCEANUS, and PROTREK.

In addition, “Nihonbashi Nishikawa” will be transformed into a hands-on showroom equipped with the latest digital equipment, and “WACOAL The Store” will be renovated as the first combined store to carry each Wacoal brand.
