On August 20, ANA announced partial changes to its group air transportation business plan (ANA and Peach Air Japan) for the second half of FY2024.
On domestic routes, ANA resumed the Miyako-Ishigaki route. Peach will increase flights on the Kanku – Shin-Chitose/Fukuoka route. The scale of operations (seat kilometers, total number of seats x transport distance) will increase to 105% year-on-year for ANA and Peach combined.
Meanwhile, on the international front, ANA will strengthen its strong European routes, opening the Haneda-Milan route on December 3, the Haneda-Stockholm route on January 31, 2025, and the Haneda-Istanbul route on February 12, 2025, with three round-trip flights per week on each route.
In addition, the Narita – Perth route will be resumed with three flights per week from October 14. Against the backdrop of strong demand for travel to Japan, the Haneda-Bangkok route will increase by one round-trip flight per day (three round-trips per day) from January 9, 2025, and the Narita-Hong Kong route will increase by one flight per week (four flights per week) from October 27, 2025.
As a result of these plans, the scale of operations is expected to increase to 144% year-on-year in Europe and to 108% year-on-year for all routes combined.
Peach has increased the number of flights on the Narita/Kansai-Kansai-Taipei (Taoyuan) route to a maximum of 21 round-trips per week on each route. Peach will consider launching new routes in the future.
Air Japan will continue to operate three routes from Narita to Bangkok/Singapore/Seoul (Incheon).
