Tokyo Disney Resort has announced the next location of the Tokyo Disney Resort Special Drone Show “Magic in the Air,” which is currently being held at fireworks shows across Japan.
The show will be performed at around 6:40 p.m. at the 96th National Fireworks Competition (Omagari Fireworks) to be held on August 31 in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture. A total of 1,500 drones will simultaneously float in the night sky, depicting Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters in a spectacular drone show.
The new Fantasy Springs theme port, which just had its grand opening in June, will also be featured. The characters you can meet at the new theme port, such as Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan, will also be represented.
On the same day, from 14:30 to 17:30 (scheduled), the “Duffy Bus” will also come to the Omagari Hikario Event Plaza. The bus is wrapped with Duffy’s plush fabric, and visitors can enjoy the fluffy feeling from the outside and take commemorative photos. Duffy & Friends plush toys will be on display and leaflets will be distributed. The car body has a new design featuring all of Duffy & Friends.
