Oedo Onsen Monogatari will start autumn gourmet buffets at its 35 facilities nationwide on September 1, but only five inns will offer all-you-can-eat crab in addition to a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes at no extra charge.

At “Kounkaku” and “Masuya” in Miyagi Prefecture, visitors can enjoy Naruko hot spring baths by freely moving between the large baths of the two inns. Shikkyo-yu” in Nagano Prefecture has two different bathhouses in two different buildings, including an open-air bath where you can feel the tranquil nature and a standing bath with a depth of approximately 100 cm. Nagayama in Ishikawa Prefecture and Awara in Fukui Prefecture are recommended for autumn family vacations, as they are easily accessible from the Tokyo metropolitan area with the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen and are dotted with leisure spots in the surrounding area.

The buffet at each inn features local delicacies such as Kesennuma horumon grilled on a ceramic plate (Kounkaku), Kesennuma mouka shark chili sauce (Masuya), Shinshu local cuisine oyaki and sauce katsu (Shikyoyu), Gogo curry (which sparked the Kanazawa curry boom), traditional Kaga jibu-ni (Nagayama), Japanese peperoncino using heshiko (pickled heshiko), and grilled mackerel stick sushi (Awara). The lineup also includes local delicacies such as Japanese peperoncino and grilled mackerel stick sushi (Awara).

From September 1 to October 31, the “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Dice Campaign” will be held at all group hotels, where guests can win special offers on the spot. If you roll the dice at check-in and get a “dice roll”, you will win the following prizes: 1st prize: “Free stay for the day”, 2nd prize: “Half off the room rate for the day”, 3rd prize: “500 yen discount per person on the room rate for the day”.
